Dating Abuse

Healthy relationships are based on respect, equality, trust, support and love

But if your partner calls you names like slut, ugly, fat or stupid, devalues your opinion, is extremely jealous, possessive, or controlling, whether in person or through technology, forces you to have sex, or intimidates you, then you may be in an abusive relationship.

Dating abuse isn't an argument that happens once in a while -- it is a pattern of coercive behaviors used to establish control over a partner. Dating abuse can happen to anyone regardless of age, gender, race, ethnicity, religion or sexual orientation.
