Vote Like a Girl: Professional Advice and Civic Responsibility

Come hear from Dara Freed, seasoned political consultant, about her experience working as Hilary Clinton's finance director for the 2008 Presidential campaign, as well as her work on Cory Booker's campaign for United States Senate, and so much more. Dara, a lifelong Manhattanite, is deeply involved in politics both in New York and nationally. Dara runs her own consulting business and has worked for many well respected non-profits. She worked closely with Everytown for Gun Safety, a movement of Americans working together to end gun violence and build safer communities, as well as Search for Common Ground, an peace-building organization that partners with people around the world to ignite shared solutions to destructive conflicts.

Throughout October, JWI is participating in the Allstate Foundation’s Purple Purse Challenge, a fundraising initiative to fight financial abuse. To that end, we are handling this event registration differently, collecting payments through JWI’s Purple Purse fundraising page to boost our standing in this fundraising competition.
