JWI Library Ambassadors in Austin, Texas
Being a Library Ambassador makes a great class, community service or mitzvah project!
Ambassadors agree to raise a minimum of $500, equal to at least 50 brand-new books for a planned or existing JWI library of their choice.
JWI can provide creative ideas, marketing materials and other resources for raising funds to help ambassadors learn about literacy and the effects of domestic violence.
JWI can provide a webpage where friends, supporters or bar/bat mitzvah guests can read a short description of the ambassador’s reason for choosing this project.
The ambassador may request that JWI arrange a visit to the library, help put books on the shelves after delivery and make plans for a long-term volunteer relationship.
