Help JWI and SDT build a children's library in a domestic violence shelter!

Most of the kids living in these facilities are fleeing violent homes - often with no personal belongings but the clothes on their backs. JWI libraries give them a safe, quiet, peaceful place to relax, escape into a book, and keep up with their school work when they're most at risk of falling behind. 

JWI needs funding not only to meet our goal of 100 fully-furnished new shelters libraries across the country, but also to continually restock the shelves as each child leaves the shelter with a favorite book in hand, ready to start a new life.

Sigma Delta Tau is working to fully fund a JWI library in a New York City shelter by its 2017 Centennial Celebration.
