JWI is a member of the UJA Taskforce on Family Violence, the Caucus of Jewish NGOs at the United Nations, One Voice for Israel, the Advisory Council for Project Eden at the Kings County District Attorney’s office, the Taskforce on Elder Abuse for the Jewish Home and Jewish Hospital.

The Sh’ma Kolenu Project, a joint initiative between JWI and the New York Board of Rabbis, provides education, resources, and training to clergy and synagogues throughout the greater New York metro area. 

In addition, JWI New York has been invited to participate in numerous forums to raise community awareness around our mission of safe homes and healthy relationships, including: Clergy Breakfasts, vigils, interfaith services, and panel discussions sponsored by area government offices, community leaders, and educational institutions.
