Fourth International Conference on Domestic Abuse

Over the past decade, Jewish Women International’s conferences have brought together representatives from communities around the world and given participants a forum to share, learn and collaborate with leaders in the field of domestic violence and promoting healthy relationships, and to create powerful and long-lasting partnerships.

As we build on the successes of our past conferences, our Fourth International Conference on Domestic Abuse will feature opportunities for individuals and organizations to connect with one another, build concrete skills to take back to their communities, share struggles and challenges as well as best practices, and reflect on what has been accomplished and envision the future. The conference will include: Trainings and skill building sessions for advocates, social workers, mental health professionals, clergy, lawyers and community leaders; an advocacy day on Capitol Hill; facilitated networking sessions; special sessions on prevention work and promoting healthy relationships; and a survivor speak-out, among many other features.

Join your fellow domestic violence service providers, advocates, survivors of abuse, social justice activists, clergy, social workers, lawyers, researchers, policy-makers, donors, funders and community volunteers as we explore, learn, build skills, and reflect on what we have accomplished so that we can envision the future.
