JWI’s National Training Institute provides cutting edge programming on all issues that foster safe homes, healthy relationships and strong women. Our speakers and trainers are all leading experts in their fields. Their presentations will inspire, engage and educate your audience on topics that range from domestic violence to women’s economic security.

  • Skill Building for Clergy – both introductory and advanced, led by trained rabbis – offers the resources and tools to approach the issue of family violence with informed sensitivity.
  • Trainings for social workers, advocates and mental health professionals on topics ranging from the effects of violence on children to domestic abuse 101.
  • Community-wide forums that raise public awareness around domestic abuse and put essential materials and information in the hands of those positioned to build a coordinated community response.*
  • Educators' Training empowers both formal and informal teachers with an understanding of unhealthy relationships and their impact on teens and young adults, empowering them to spot the signs of dating abuse and guide young victims toward help.
  • Interactive Workshops for Teens, Young Adults and Parents open an essential dialogue about healthy and unhealthy dating relationships – how to identify them, how to avoid them, how to get help for victims and abusers.
  • Economic security for women of all ages help ensure financial independence

* Continuing Education Contact Hours are available through an arrangement with the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
