About the Mother's Day Flower Project

Thank you for making JWI’s 2009 Mother’s Day Flower Project such a success!

This project is about much more than Mother’s Day.  Flower Project proceeds fund a variety of JWI programs that work year-round to comfort and empower victims of abuse, opening doors to a brighter, self-sufficient future.

Your contribution expands resources for education and prevention: Programs that guide abused women through the precarious first steps towards a new life; prevention efforts that empower Jewish teens and young adults to build healthy relationships; and community planning and needs assessments that help local groups more effectively serve domestic violence victims.

Your contribution creates JWI children’s libraries: Comforting havens stocked with new books, furniture and learning resources in domestic violence shelters across the U.S.

Your contribution spreads throughout the community, helping JWI convene our international conferences on domestic abuse in the Jewish community; involve thousands of community leaders and practitioners worldwide in our National Alliance to End Domestic Abuse; and advocate in Washington for domestic violence prevention and treatment.
