Plan C/Abortion Pill 101 Training

The impending Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade has left many people justifiably frightened about access to abortion in the future. It will be undeniably harder in many states - but there will still be options, such as the abortion pill.

Studies show that self-managed medication abortion is effective and safe. JWI and Plan C are offering this training to teach you more about this option and how to access it.

Speaker: Imani Wilson-Shabazz, MPH Candidate, Partnerships and Engagement Manager, Plan C  

Imani Wilson-Shabazz is currently a graduate student in the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, earning a MPH in Community Health Sciences with a certificate in Population and Reproductive Health. She is a recent graduate of the University of Southern California with a B.A in Cognitive Science and a B.A in Gender Studies. Ms. Wilson-Shabazz currently works at Plan C as their Partnerships and Engagement Manager, facilitating community partnerships to increase awareness of abortion pill access around the country.  She also provides lectures, webinars, and educational videos on how to advocate for, and promote medication abortion access in diverse communities.
