The judge, jury and general public’s lack of knowledge and understanding around the dynamics of domestic violence can severely impact survivors’ cases as they navigate a variety of court proceedings. This webinar focuses on building skills to testify in criminal and civil cases as well as other legal and official proceedings, focusing on creating organizational policies for testifying as well as tips for successful testimony and cross examination.

By the end of this webinar, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize the value of being present for a client’s court proceedings
  • Consider key factors in creating organizational policies on testifying on behalf of a client
  • Gain skills to effectively testify and be cross-examined
