Compassion Fatigue & Advocate Self Care

December 2019 Webinar

Compassion Fatigue & Advocate Self Care

Are you feeling mentally and physically tired, having difficulty concentrating, overeating, overspending or feeling more irritable than usual? These are a few indicators that you may be experiencing compassion fatigue and burnout. Common among professional helpers, compassion fatigue and burnout can interfere with the ability to be fully present in our working and personal lives. The Compassion Fatigue & Advocate Self-Care webinar will explore the difference between compassion fatigue and compassion satisfaction, define burnout, and review indicators of burnout. The webinar will also provide information on skill development in the prevention of secondary traumatic stress and identify self-care strategies for advocates and allied partners working with survivors of domestic violence.

Free for members / $25 for non-members
