321ACTION: Assault weapons ban, paid leave for victims, Google's added abortion threat

Ready to make a difference?

Here are three ways to get started:

1. Tell Congress to vote on the assault weapons ban NOW!

Congress must do its job and ban assault weapons. As mass shootings are becoming normalized, we are growing numb to civilians' continued use of assault weapons in the everyday spaces we all inhabit. One out of every four guns being manufactured right now is an AR-15, and the gun industry is getting richer every day.

Demand that Congress take at least this small step to ban assault weapons and stop giving in to the gun industry. Call your Members of Congress and tell them to vote on the assault weapons ban NOW. The congressional switchboard will connect you to any member: Call  202-224-3121, today and every day, until the vote is taken.

2. Demand paid sick days for victims of violence, stalking, or assault!

The Healthy Families Act will be reintroduced on May 17th, and there’s still time for your Member of Congress to be an Original Co-Sponsor of these critical policies to ensure that working people have access to paid sick days – so they don’t have to choose between their health and a paycheck. The bill allows victims of domestic violence, stalking, or sexual assault to use paid sick days to address their medical, psychological, legal, and other needs. Call or email your representative to thank them for being a cosponsor or to urge them to sign on now and vote.

3. Hold Google accountable for collecting and retaining abortion clinic locations!

The tech giant collects this information by tracking individuals going to a clinic, and the data can be weaponized by abortion prosecutors.

Sign the petition and share this graphic on your social media. This is an added threat to the safety of anyone seeking an abortion – and to our reproductive justice.
