Virtual Leadership Lunch: Impostor Syndrome

JWI's Virtual Leadership Lunch Series

Behaviorist and leadership coach Phyllis Reagin joins former Woman to Watch (and fellow leadership expert) Pam Sherman to discuss the dirty little secret that many professional women share: They believe that their successes are not due to their abilities or talents. So many of us worry that we'll be discovered as frauds - an unfounded mentality that can make accomplished women turn down promotions, push away from the table, and feel awkward among other successful people.

Phyllis Reagin is a doctoral-trained behaviorist and seasoned leadership coach who has guided thousands of leadership transformations. She is the founder of At the Coach's Table, a leadership coaching company focused on guiding high-achievers with leading with greater influence, meaning, and impact. She is also the founder of RJH Productions, a leadership development production company that creates and distributes multimedia content focused on leadership.

Phyllis brings to these projects her 10 years as a leadership coach, along with her experience as the global head of diversity & inclusion for Warner Bros. Entertainment. Many of her high-achieving clients rock the entertainment/media, athletic, and tech startup worlds. It is not unusual for Phyllis to advise TV production teams with how to deal with conflict, to up-level an athlete's confidence prior to an important performance, or to smooth out the chaotic culture at a high-profile startup.

Phyllis is a highly sought thought leader who provides guidance about high-performance strategies, getting leaders and teams unstuck from conflict, and transforming leaders into the best versions of themselves. The shadow behind many illustrious leaders pivots, she powerfully challenges bosses' divisive behaviors and motivates them to lead with greater meaning and impact.

Phyllis has coached leaders from ABC, Amazon, Bravo Networks, CBS, Facebook, Google, NBCUniversal, Nickelodeon, Paramount Studios, Sony Pictures, Spotify, Twitter, & Warner Bros.
