"As a Jewish Man" Documentary World Premiere

What does it mean to be a Jewish man in the 21st century? How does Jewish identity impact masculinity? How do Jewish values influence how men navigate life?

These are some of the questions explored in JWI’s new documentary film, As A Jewish Man. Watch the trailer here, then register below to join us for a virtual premiere on Monday, October 26th from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. ET, followed by breakout group discussions. Tickets are free for all participants. 

The documentary explores diverse experiences at the intersection of religion, gender norms, family pressures and historical trauma through the stories of nine young Jewish men. The 90-minute premiere will include screening documentary shorts focused on masculinity, Jewish stereotypes, gender in Judaism, and the #MeToo movement, followed by discussions.
