JWI's 125th Anniversary Celebration in New York City

  • TBA Manhattan United States (map)

Join JWI's NYC Young Women's Impact Network in celebrating JWI’s 125-year legacy of empowering women and girls worldwide on December 1st at 6:30 pm! YWIN NYC is excited to provide an opportunity to come together with our fellow Jewish 20's and 30's in celebration of JWI's 125th anniversary.

At our event we will live stream the 125th Anniversary Gala in D.C. which will include welcome remarks, some videos, a live paddle raise in support of JWI’s new Financial Empowerment Institute, and stand-up comedy by Jena Friedman!

We will also offer refreshments and time for connection.

Two pricing options: reduced rate is $10.00, supporter rate is $20. 00

JWI YWIN continues to offer meaningful experiences to those who identify as young women Jewish professionals and we continue to think of the ways in which we can make our events and spaces more accessible. This year we are introducing a sliding scale option for our attendees. Sliding scale pricing allows JWI to afford the costs of putting on these events while providing the flexibility to those who have varying levels of access, financial resources, or privilege.

We understand that our identity and backgrounds are multi-layered, that where we might benefit in one facet of our identity we can simultaneously experience bias with other parts of our identity.

Unsure of where you fall?

Consider paying the highest cost option, if you can comfortably meet your basic needs, have benefited from financial support systems in the past, or would like to forego take out this week. In doing so, you are helping to offset the cost for someone else and build a stronger and more inclusive JWI community here in NYC. We are aware that things change, so event to event this might differ!

If this option does not work for you, consider a lower fee option. The scale helps to include those who normally would not be able to attend, including low income, disabled, and other folks from underrepresented backgrounds.

Photos and/or videos may be recorded at this event. Your attendance at this event grants your permission to be in these photos and/or videos, which may be used for promotional, archival, or educational purposes. If you do not want your photograph shared, please inform the event host.

In keeping with JWI’s commitment to serving the greater good, COVID-19 vaccines will be required. This program is built for women and non-binary people who identify as Jewish, but people of every religious affiliation, race, culture, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ability are welcome.
