SUMMER SERIES: Session 3 - Campus Empowerment

  • JWI 1129 20th Street NW, Suite 801 Washington, DC, 20036 United States (map)

Gender-based violence is a serious yet preventable epidemic on college campuses. Hear about successful practices on other campuses and learn skills you can take back to your own campus, whether it be promoting healthy relationships, advocating for Title IX and policy reform, or changing campus culture norms. (Speakers to be announced.)

Light breakfast provided at 8:00 a.m.; workshop runs from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.

JWI’s annual three-part series of summer breakfast roundtables gathers D.C. interns and young professionals to discuss current issues unique to young women, and ways they can get involved and make a difference.
