Here for You Communities

Spotlights on participating communities and their local tools.

  • A Here for You Community is a local network of Jewish communal organizations and staff working together to ensure that survivors of domestic abuse and their children are met with safety, compassion, and support at every point of contact.

Rooted in the understanding that domestic abuse does happen in Jewish spaces, these communities take active, coordinated steps to become safer and more responsive.

At no cost to the community, JWI facilitates a community-wide launch and provides ongoing training, guidance, action planning, access to domestic violence resources, and public awareness tools. Organizations such as JCCs, Federations, synagogues, youth programs, and Jewish Family Services collaborate to build a unified response that ensures no survivor is turned away or left to navigate alone.
