About the Panelists:

Addie Swartz

A serial entrepreneur, Addie created reacHIRE to build a systematic pathway for exceptional women to get back into the workforce, and to help women and under-represented groups thrive and rise via a proprietary leadership development  program called Aurora.

Prior to reacHIRE, she founded two companies at the intersection of media, technology and education.

Addie has also built new businesses within Disney, Reebok and Lotus Development. She created the Beacon Street Girls®, a brand focused on providing positive role models and empowering ‘tween girls. The Beacon Street Girls have sold over 1MM books and are now published by Simon & Schuster.

Previously, Addie founded BrightIdeas®, which sold children’s educational software through home parties run by moms. BrightIdeas was acquired by a division of Pearson Education.

Addie started her career at Bain & Co. She has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Inc., Working Woman Magazine, Child Magazine, Working Mother, Good Morning America, NPR and MSNBC. Addie also named to the Inc. Magazine 2021 Female Founders List in the category, “Lifted Other Women Up.”

Addie is a graduate of Stanford University, and received her MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. She’s also the proud mom of two daughters.

Julia Kanarek

Julia is an Organizational Effectiveness Principal at Slalom. She brings 9 years of experience as a trusted advisor to her clients during complex technology and business changes. Prior to joining Slalom, she worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts in technology strategy and Deloitte Consulting supporting clients in the federal government. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from George Washington University.

Sarah Abramson

Sarah Abramson, PhD, Senior Vice President of Strategy and Impact, oversees CJP’s strategies for impact in our community. She works closely with partner institutions and communities to ensure that our overall ecosystem is thriving, sustainable, adaptive, and interconnected. Her leadership in this department spreads across the organization with her advocacy for making inspiring Judaism accessible for all and bringing social justice issues to the forefront of our work and our communities. Sarah sits on CJP’s Executive Team and reports to Rabbi Marc Baker. Sarah previously served as the Executive Director of Yad Chessed and was the Senior Policy researcher for the Board of Deputies in London. Sarah graduated with highest honors from Wesleyan University and holds a master’s degree in Social Policy and a Ph.D. in Sociology, both from London School of Economics. 

Stephanie Kaplan Lewis

Stephanie Kaplan Lewis is the co-founder, CEO, and editor-in-chief of Her Campus Media, the 360-degree college marketing agency and number-one media brand for college women that she created as an undergraduate at Harvard. She is also a 2019 JWI Women to Watch! Her Campus connects clients – including L'Oreal Paris, Microsoft, Steve Madden, and The New York Times – with more college women than any other media brand through its flagship site, on-campus chapter network, proprietary events, and bestselling book, The Her Campus Guide to College Life (Simon & Schuster). Her Campus received the first-ever Partnership Award from the U.S. Office on Women's Health, and Lewis has been named to Forbes' and Inc.'s 30 Under 30, Businessweek's 25 Under 25, and Glamour's 20 Amazing Young Women. She has also been published in Forbes, HuffPost, MediaPost, and more, and served as a judge for numerous entrepreneurial competitions. In August 2019, Her Campus launched its newest platform, Her20s. Lewis, her husband, and their one-year-old daughter now live in the same Boston suburb where she was raised.
