An Intimate Conversation with Ayelet Razin Bet Or

Join YWIN Boston for an engaging evening of dinner, schmoozing, and conversation with Ayelet Razin Bet Or, a 2026 JWI Woman to Watch, moderated by JWI Chief Development Officer Sara Hefez.

Wednesday, October 14 | 6:30 PM ET | Private home in Brookline

Together, we’ll explore Ayelet’s work, perspective, and what it means to advocate for women when the stakes are high. This will be a personal and candid conversation about gathering evidence, advocating for recognition and accountability, navigating the challenges along the way, and what Ayelet believes is important for us to understand as we move forward.

We’ll also look beyond October 7 to the broader arc of Ayelet’s career and her decades of work advancing the status of women in Israel.

Space will be intimate and limited. We hope you’ll join us.

Ayelet Razin Bet Or is an Israeli lawyer, public policy leader, and internationally recognized advocate for women’s rights, gender equality, and gender-based violence prevention. For more than two decades, she has worked across government, the legal system, civil society, and international institutions to advance the rights, safety, and protection of women.

She previously served as Director of Israel’s Authority for the Advancement of the Status of Women in the Ministry of Social Equality and as Legal Advisor to the Association of Rape Crisis Centers in Israel. Her work has focused on strengthening policies and systems that address gender-based violence, advance equality, and support women’s leadership and participation in society.

Since October 7, Ayelet has been a leading advocate for recognition and accountability for sexual and gender-based violence committed during the attacks and against hostages in captivity. She has worked with international institutions, policymakers, and human rights experts to ensure these experiences are documented, understood, and not overlooked.

Ayelet has also been instrumental in the I Believe Israeli Women movement as a founding sister, helping shape the initiative and lending her expertise, perspective, and voice as it has grown. Her partnership with JWI reflects a shared commitment to amplifying the voices, leadership, and experiences of Israeli women.

I Believe Israeli Women is a global community of people who stand in solidarity with Israeli women, men, and children, acknowledge the sexual violence of October 7, counter the denialism and disinformation, and fight against terrorism that threatens the security and human rights of women.
