JWI is hosting a virtual advocacy day to give members of our community across the country a platform to speak out on issues impacting women and girls - including reproductive justice, protections for survivors of domestic and sexual violence amidst the pandemic, and racial equity.
We will be meeting with New York, Maryland, Illinois, Colorado, and California Senate offices.
JWI's advocacy team will be in touch prior to July 28th to prepare registrants for their respective states’ Senate meeting(s), which will be conducted over Zoom and should last 30 minutes. In addition to providing information detailing our key policy asks, we will host two trainings to discuss our legislative agenda and share advocacy best practices before our virtual meetings.
