VAWA Reauthorization Webinar: What’s in it, and what happens next?

NTF logo.jpg

The current Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) is only authorized through September 30th, and right now Congress is sitting on the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2018 (H.R. 6545), a bill that ensures the needs of survivors continue to be met.

On this webinar you will learn more about the key enhancements in the bill as well as strategies to make sure VAWA is reauthorized with new critical protections. There is no cost to participate, but you must register.

The National Task Force to End Sexual and Domestic Violence ("NTF") is focused on the development, passage and implementation of effective public policy to address domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking. The full membership of the NTF comprises a large and diverse group of national, tribal, state, territorial, and local organizations, and individuals committed to ending domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking.
