Women's Impact Network (WIN) Chicago: The Algorithm of Hate

JWI’s Women’s Impact Network (WIN), a community connecting Jewish women who are established in their careers through programming rooted in Jewish values and women’s leadership, invites you to join us in downtown Chicago on November 9 for The Algorithm of Hate: Antisemitism, Misogyny, and the Digital Threat to Jewish Women. This timely conversation will explore how online hate affects Jewish women’s mental well-being, the information we encounter, and our personal safety.

How do social media algorithms amplify hate, and what can we do about it?

Featuring three expert perspectives across law, digital strategy, and wellness, we’ll unpack how online hate spreads, where accountability lies, and how we can navigate the digital world with greater awareness and confidence.

Featured speakers:

  • Jacqueline Carroll, former sex crimes prosecutor, civil rights litigator, national director for a Jewish non-profit, and Founder of human rights consulting firm We persist!

  • Marissa Freeman, head of special projects at LUWI, brand strategist and community builder focused on mental health, human connection, and digital engagement

  • Amy Keller, managing partner of DiCello Levitt’s Chicago office and chair of its Privacy, Technology, and Cybersecurity Practice

Join us for an engaging evening of insight, conversation, and connection with WIN.
