We’ll kick off with a beginner-friendly Krav Maga session led by Rhon Mizrachi — a world-renowned master who trained directly with the discipline’s founder, Imi Lichtenfeld. You’ll learn practical, real-world self-defense skills while boosting your mind, body, and spirit — no experience required.

This event reflects JWI’s core pillars: ending gender-based violence, advancing women’s leadership, and living our Jewish values. As a national leader in the movement to end gender-based violence, JWI supports survivors, advocates for policy change, and strengthens domestic violence shelters. At the same time, we are committed to empowering women at every stage of life through mentorship, professional development, and leadership grounded in Jewish values. And just as Shabbat Across the Country brings young Jewish women together in meaningful community, tonight we affirm those same values of connection, purpose, and collective strength that guide JWI’s work every day.
FAQs:
What’s JWI? Jewish Women International (JWI) is the leading Jewish organization working to empower women and girls – of every race, culture, ability, gender identity, and sexual orientation – by ensuring and protecting their safety, building access to long-term economic security, and lifting and mentoring women leaders.
What’s the Young Women’s Impact Network? The network connects and supports local Jewish women in their 20s and 30s with empowering programs and leadership development. Learn more.
What kind of programming does JWI put on? Our programs connect young Jewish women together and provide them with opportunities to grow together, thrive independently, and create a lasting impact on the world around them. Many of our programs focus on financial empowerment, healthy relationships, personal and professional development, and more!
