Speaker Bios:
Samantha Clark has worked as an abortion doula since 2021 in DC and Oregon, and particularly since the fall of Roe has found that work especially impactful. She has also volunteered as a clinic escort in Philadelphia, DC, and Portland, OR. From 2021 to 2023 she led the Developing Leaders Program at PPMW helping to train the next generation of reproductive rights activists and help them find where they can join the movement. Currently, Samantha focuses more on practical support for abortion as a case manager with the Northwest Abortion Access Fund by organizing funding for abortion seekers. In her paid career, Samantha works at Upstream USA, which is a non-profit focused on expanding contraceptive access.
