Advocacy Alert: American Victims of Terrorism Compensation Act
Jewish Women International (JWI) is proud to have collaborated with a wide range of stakeholders to finalize the language of the American Victims of Terrorism Compensation Act (AVTCA)—a critical step toward justice for survivors of the October 7 attack and their families.
Just last week, the Anti-Defamation League filed a groundbreaking lawsuit against Hamas and other terrorist organizations to hold them financially accountable for their brutal acts. But lawsuits alone aren’t enough. Once damages are awarded, the AVTCA will ensure that American victims and their families can actually receive the compensation owed to them by Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and other terrorist groups.
This is where your voice matters.
Click here to email your members of Congress and urge them to sponsor the American Victims of Terrorism Compensation Act today.
With your help, we can make sure American victims of October 7 and their families are not denied the justice and restitution they deserve.
Thank you for standing with us—and with them.
Best,
Rachel Graber, VP of Government Relations and Advocacy
