Summer Shabbat Series: Sangria Supporting Chicago Period Project

  • Private backyard in Lakeview Chicago (map)

*Please note: This event is at at 6:30 PM CT in person. All participants are required to be vaccinated. If we need to move inside due to weather, we’ll ask that participants wear masks when not eating or drinking.

It's summer in Chicago and the weather is beautiful. Join us on Friday, August 13 to sip on multiple types of sangria, have some yummy desserts and socialize with friends old and new.

At this event, we'll be hosting a Flow Drive and collecting supplies for Chicago Period Project, a non-profit focused on period equity in the city and learning more about the work they do throughout Chicago. We will be collecting donations of sealed packages of pads, tampons, liners, menstrual cups, new underwear, hand sanitizer and absorbent period underwear.
