However, few people felt comfortable discussing issues with sexuality, desire, and arousal; as a result, funding was negligible for products and solutions in the female sexual health space. However, Scherl viewed this as a business opportunity and dedicated her work to providing growth strategies, operational supporting, and business development for companies in all aspects of women’s health – including birth control, menstruation, disease prevention, fertility, pregnancy, and arousal.
