321ACTION: Mifepristone Update, Paid Family Leave, & #FinancialLiteracyMonth

Ready to make a difference?

Here are three ways to get started:

1. Get the facts on mifepristone: a safe and effective medication

The attack and confusion surrounding medication abortion is creating a dangerous, chilling effect on reproductive rights. Please know that RIGHT NOW mifepristone remains accessible and on the market – although this may change soon as anti-abortion extremists continue to weaponize the courts to ban abortion nationwide.

Learn more about the safety and efficacy of mifepristone in this Abortion Pills 101 webinar from Plan C and JWI, and visit PlanCPills.com for details on where to find abortion pills, usage, safety information, and more.

2. Demand paid family leave!

Paid family leave is an essential safety net that allows people to care for their families without sacrificing economic security.

In Congress, lawmakers recently formed the Bipartisan Paid Family Leave Working Group to find bipartisan solutions to this critical issue with the ultimate goal of creating a federal paid leave policy.

Email your Representative now to ask them to join this new bipartisan working group.

3. Reimagine financial literacy support for survivors

Financial literacy is a key component of economic empowerment and security for survivors of domestic violence. In 99% of all instances of intimate partner violence, survivors face financial abuse where they are left with “little to no income, no access to cash or bank accounts, fraudulent and/or coerced debt in their name, and damaged financial profiles” (FreeFrom).

Learn how service providers are expanding their approach to financial support for survivors by joining a webinar hosted by our colleagues at FUTURES, Reimagine Financial Literacy for Survivors on Wednesday, April 19th at 1pm ET.
